Inequality is rising in every part of society. Prior to the pandemic, the cultural and creative industries already had extremely low social mobility. It's only getting worse right now, but you can still create the chance of a lifetime for somebody by becoming an Arts Emergency Bursar today.

Our Bursar Club is a small funding circle who pledge £1,000 or more to us annually. Historically, this has been the average cost of supporting a young person’s nine year long place with Arts Emergency.

This £1,000 annual pledge works out as under £20 a week, and you can pay monthly or annually. Your generous donation will go towards our hard to fund core costs at a time when we’ve never been needed more. Our Bursars enjoy invitations to events, updates from our co-founders and a personal thank you pack.

It is vital that those of us weathering this storm send ladders down so people in less secure positions make it through.

Please, if you can, join our Bursar Club. There is no greater way to pass on your privilege.

A generational crisis like this requires a powerful movement. We have thousands of volunteers, years of social impact behind us and a low cost organising model has proven flexible and invaluable during this pandemic. With your help we can keep on growing.

Get in touch with our Fundraising Manager, Lucy about alternative ways to donate, giving in someone's name or if you are considering giving at a higher level.

Hear from Young Community member Jenna, on why you should join our Bursar Club today.

In 2017 we matched Jenna with a mentor who helped her achieve her goal of studying Classics at Oxford. Here, Jenna talks about her passion for writing and what Arts Emergency means to her.

Do something. Start small, start local, keep going.
